The client needed a new identity for their first brand-new restaurant in the heart of Barcelona. Specializing in extreme dry aging meat, transforming it into an art form for your unique enjoyment. Like wine, meat develops exquisite flavor profiles over time under precise temperature and humidity conditions.
Goal
As a steakhouse entering a competitive and experience-driven culinary market, a distinctive and memorable visual identity is essential. Beyond offering high-quality cuts and exceptional service, the brand must communicate its personality, values, and promise to its audience at first glance.
The goal is to craft a cohesive visual identity that captures the essence of the steakhouse — whether that’s rustic authenticity, refined elegance, or bold modernity — and translates it into every touchpoint, from the logo and color palette to typography, menu design, interior signage, and digital presence.
This identity will not only distinguish the restaurant from competitors but also build trust, recognition, and emotional connection with its customers. It’s about creating a sensory and visual experience that aligns with the quality of the food and ambiance, inviting guests not just for a meal, but for a memorable culinary journey.
Concept
The visual identity was inspired by the intricate marbling found in cuts of meat. Each shape in the design represents a different type of red meat cut, such as T-bone or sirloin. At the same time, the forms invite alternative interpretations, evoking natural elements like jungle foliage. The result is a collection of modular pieces that utilize a distinctive and flexible visual language.
